Greetings weary travelers,

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. When we get all the responses back, we'll be able to start fulfilling your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. 
Just a reminder that since we did not charge shipping fees yet(unless you made a pre-order on Backerkit after the KS campaign finished), you should expect to pay for shipping if you have physical rewards.

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. 

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://the-remainder-expanded-edition.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account.

Hi everyone, Ze here.

Phew, it has been a busy few days, we were wrestling with steamworks and backerkit, but have finally got things under control. Now the game is properly setup on steam and itch and ready to be played(hopefully with no more game-breaking bugs).

We severely under-estimated the time it takes to prepare the survey so you can choose your rewards, but that is also nearing completion. You should expect an email in the next few days where you can choose which platform your want your game, which artworks you want for your prints and all the good stuff. 

On a related note, we're also revamping our ko-fi and patreon to give more interesting rewards to people who are generous enough to give us monthly support so we can keep making spirited stories like The Remainder. For example, now all monthly backers will have access to a private channel on our discord where they see all the works in progress.
The top tier backers will also have a direct line of communication with me and Nim where they can ask us anything about the game, the lore, the characters, our working process, anything at all.

Hi everyone, I apologize for any confusion, but the game keys have not gone out yet.

The first few days have been a bit chaotic as we struggle with making the game work on steam. We're also preparing the survey to let you choose which store you want to get a key on, as well as the options for the artworks. 

The current task is fixing an issue with achievements not activating on steam. It should be the last thing to fix before the game is ready.

This should all be done in the next few days, we will update you on our progress and let you know when the surveys have gone out.

So please bear with us just a little longer.

I have a suspicion Steam was not made by humans, and is not intended to be used by humans.

We're twisting our brains into smooth pretzels trying to get it to work properly on there. It's getting there, with a few more wrinkles to smooth out. Please be patient with us.

In the mean time, we're preparing surveys to send out to y'all so you can choose which flavour of key you want, and which artwork you get for the prints and such. 

I'm hoping it will be done early next week.

Early Access is Live

Supporters above a certain tier should be getting an email with a link and password to the early access build of the game.

We implemented a few hundred more minor touchups in the weeks leading up to this.

Nothing is perfect, so we expect more tweaks and fixes in the weeks to come, but they should all be minor things that slipped through the cracks. 

If you're one of the people who're getting early access, then enjoy!
